Alone
On the cold naked floor,
Dampened with our sin,
I lay shivering.
Raped of righteousness and love.
The love we built our foundation on.
Each love made broke it down.
Broke me.
I lay alone
Baring my naked sin to the world.
Cursing our lives.
So fast, So much, So long,
It’s gone,
My pride, My life, My faith.
Alone
On the cold hard floor
Where new blood freshly pools
I lay.
Drowning in guilt and shame.
Drowning others in this sin.
The weight of the world at my feet.
My sin, not yours.
I alone bare this pain..
This is about David and Bathsheba from the Bible. I have a lot of respevt for Bathsheba. because of their sin, she took the full responsibility. In his palace, his wives hated her, mocked her, called her whore, or prostitute. She gave birth to a son, and God took him away. As a result of their affair, David's household split, his sons turned against him, his wives made them jealous. All because Bathsheba wanted one night with the King. We all know that it takes two to have sex, however when you are king, everyone is afraid to blame you. So it all goes to The other.
